Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2012!

Another year is coming to an end and of course everyone’s celebrating it by giving everyone whom they love a little something and welcomes the new year with a bang.

It was a successful year for me, I learned a lot and met a lot of people.
I was very busy,.. in a positive matter. I’m going to try and improve myself to be more effective and a lot more productive next year.

I think this coming Christmas is the very first time in my life, when I’ve never wished for anything materialistic. I’m so content with my current situation, that I just want to spend valuable time with my family.

So, I wish everyone in the world a heartfelt Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Thank you, Japan

for causing other nations to rethink about their energy politics.

for examplary civilised behaviours even in times of crisis.

for being my personal heroes, the helpers on-sites.

for not losing hope searching for your loved ones.

for moving hearts worldwide.

for being still alive.

for surviving.

Thank you.

Anime Season: Winter 2010/11

A short list of shows I’m interested in from this season.

First off, I’ve intended to follow only IS Infinite Stratos every week, but since a lot of reviews has been giving it quite low ratings (hopefully just for the meanwhile), I’ll just watch it when it’s finished. It’s a pity since it packed full of nice voice actresses.

That leaves me with nothing to follow every week this season, so I’ll watch the shows when they are finished.

So, here’s my list:

  • IS Infinite Stratos
  • Hourou Musuko
  • Fractale
  • Freezing
  • Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica
  • Gosick
  • Kimi ni Todoke 2nd Season

And this is the “maybe-list”:

  • Kore wa Zombie desu ka?
  • Oniichan no Koto
  • Beelzebub
  • Yumekui Merry

Anyhow, I’m quite excited to see Belldandy animated again. =)

Fate/Zero is getting animated

I’m so happy (so happy that I would like to freak out here on my blog, but I’d rather not) and considering it the best christmas present my fate has given me. XD

I pray for a 4-part 30+ minutes OVA.

“Hoshi wo ou Kodomo” (星を追う子ども), which translates to “Children who chase the stars” has actually an official english title “Children who Chase Lost Voices from Deep Below” is Shinkai Makoto’s next work is planned to be premiered next year 2011.

I thought he was working on “Sayonara” (さよなら)

Manga Shops in Vienna, Austria

I was curious where else I can buy manga nearby, so I did some research on the net and here it is.

My last 3 Anime Years: Fall 2007 - Summer 2010

These are the number of titles I’ve already seen per season. Summer 2010 though is still tentative since I’m waiting for the BD/DVDrips but can be considered complete.

The last 4 season were the worst to be honest, I can only think of one title which I followed week after week. I’ve always waited for some titles to have finished airing until I’ve watched it.

That is also the reason why I’ve stalled maintaining my Blu-ray release website: http://bd.mflatischler.com . Need to update it again sometime.

Thank God, it’s going up again with the current Fall 2010 anime season.
